The Confrontation of Two Giants In Area of Consumers' Opinions

Nowadays there are two websites in the area of customers' views that are real opponents. The website which is a rookie in that area called PissedConsumer.com tries to get more visitors than its rival Consumer Reports has got. What will be the crucial thing, the fervor or the reputation?

If you load up the websites simultaneously, the differences are quite obvious. It's directly plain that Consumer Reports has a slicker and more professional look. It is actually handy for your eyes to adapt as the main colors utilized are grey, white and light blue. Here you can find a great deal of different links and pictures that are completed with small articles. The interface of Pissed Consumer includes mainly red and white tones that make it look great. However, their website does not have the same professional sensation to it as Consumer Reports. That is the consequence of many advertisement banners placed on the main page that are powered by Google. By the way, while there are lots of links, there are no images and the font utilized is not completely uniform making reading a bit hard on the eye. There are two sections which are really useful. Recently created reviews and articles from the consumers can be easily found by usage of the first section. “Hot topics” are shown by the second section. They are demonstrated just in one word link. I only wanted the font of the hot topics section was larger so it would be easier to distinguish the phrases.

Consumer Reports pleasantly amazed me by their nicely arranged structure. There are some wide topics that are subdivided on some more narrowly directed. There is a Consumer Reports Magazine, but there are many topics on their webpage that include the discussions of the issues placed in this magazine. The arrangement of Pissed Consumer is also quite proper but it has got some obvious disadvantages. A lot of people that visit this website at the first time complain about a huge amount of bad arranged information that confounded them at once. The right side does contain a main roll of categories but they are broad without an ability to make them more particular. Both websites comprise some excellent searching engines which make the navigation actions executed by visitors really easy. There is an opinion that Consumer Reports includes significantly bigger amount of information but it is not right, actually. Pissed Consumer has got more subdivisions which comprise more information than Consumer Reports but it is more difficult to find exactly what you need due to quite not understandable interface.

Overall, while both websites cover the same range of matters, it seems that Consumer Reports is the website with better ease of use and organization. It means that consumer has got a chance to find required information in considerably shorter terms. I would rather say that Pissed Consumer has got a bit more drawbacks that brings a chance to Consumer Reports to be the best.
